CHS Golf: 2022 Double Conference Champions & Overall Champion Freshman Miken Ashmore

After a great season with many tournament wins, both the Panthers and Lady Panthers Golf Teams finished both of their seasons as the 2022 6A Central Conference Champions!

Our Panthers also finished as State Runner-Ups and the Lady Panthers finished 6th overall at the State Tournament.

Seniors Emmerson Doyle and Easton Denney claimed the 2022 6A individual State Championship! Emmerson’s two-day total from State was 153 and won by 1 stroke. Easton’s two-day total was 151 and won by 2 strokes. Freshman Miken Ashmore tied for second place with a score of152 and Gabe Haslauer placed 4th with a score of 154.

Three golfers were invited to play in the Arkansas State Golf Association Overall Tournament where freshman Miken Ashmore won overall tournament with a score of 73! Seniors Easton Denney finished second and Emmerson placed 5th.

We are proud to announce that All Arkansas Preps has announced Miken Ashmore has been named Boys Golfer of the Year and will be recognized at their awards banquet June 10th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wally Allen Ballroom in the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. 

Seniors Emmerson Doyle and Easton Denney recently signed letters of intent to golf next fall at college. Congratulations!
