Cabot Learning Academy Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
January 31, 2024
The Cabot Learning Academy has a brand-new home and a new location! Staff, district leaders, school board members, community leaders, and the construction team recently celebrated on January 23, 2024 with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
This momentous occasion would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. Students and staff love their new facility and it has made an immediate difference.
The new building is located at 407 S. Polk Street which is just behind the Central Administrative Office. Students have been in their brand-new home since the second semester began in January.
The Cabot Learning Academy or CLA is a one-of-a kind, unique K-12 school setting within the Cabot School District, where students come to progress on academic and behavioral skills at their individual levels. CLA is a learning community committed to quality learning where students are taught in small classes with no more than 12 students, a teacher, and two paraprofessionals.
A variety of instructional strategies are used throughout the school day to help students reach their full potential with both academics and behavioral needs. Social skills are taught throughout the day to meet students where they are with their social and emotional needs. CLA strives to meet students where they are with their learning and help them reach their goals so that they can become successful lifelong learners.
