At the September School Board Meeting, we had the honor of recognizing outstanding Panthers for going above and beyond.
Technology Employee Recognition
Our incredible Technology Department was recognized at the September School Board Meeting! Director Andy Martin shared that he couldn’t single out just one person - the entire team deserved recognition for their outstanding work. The celebration was especially fitting, as it also marked National IT Professionals Day. A huge thank you to our Tech Team for their hard work, dedication, and behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our district connected every day!

MaryAnn Blanford - Cabot High School
MaryAnn Blanford, a senior at Cabot High School, exemplifies perseverance and determination. She has worked tirelessly to overcome challenges and has grown into a smart, dependable, and hardworking young woman. At CHS, we encourage our students to face obstacles head-on and learn from every experience -MaryAnn is the perfect example of that spirit. She represents her school, her family, and herself with tremendous pride, and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments.


PLC Building Recognition
Bennie Brock - Cabot High School
Bennie Brock is a beloved member of the Cabot High School community, dedicating 39 years to education - 35 of those with the Cabot School District. Beyond his skill and experience as an educator, Bennie is known for his kindness, positivity, and the genuine care he shows for students and colleagues alike. His infectious personality extends far beyond the History wing, leaving a lasting impact on our entire campus. Cabot High School is truly fortunate to have him on our team.

Henry Stewart - Southside Elementary
Henry Stewart, a fourth grader at Southside Elementary, is an inspiring example of perseverance and growth. When he first joined Southside, he was part of the community-based instruction classroom, but through hard work and determination, he transitioned into inclusion and continues to thrive. Henry’s kindness, positive attitude, and willingness to help others make him a true role model for his peers.


PLC Building Recognition
April Weeks - Southside Elementary
Learning Specialist April Weeks was honored for her dedication, creativity, and leadership. She plays a vital role in supporting both students and teachers through ATLAS assessments, WIN groups, PLC meetings, and book clubs. Mrs. Weeks also leads the Sunshine Girls Leadership Club, helping students grow in confidence and kindness. Her hard work, positivity, and problem-solving make her an invaluable part of the Southside family.
