It was a memorable day as 754 seniors officially graduated from Cabot High School!

Students graduated on campus in three different ceremonies at Panther Arena on Saturday, May 17th. It was not only a special day but a special year as CHS celebrated its 150th anniversary. During the ceremonies, Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman and CHS Principal Mike Falcinelli welcomed everyone and congratulated the Sesquicentennial Class of 2025!

Included in this class are 74 Distinguished Honor Graduates, 70 High Honor graduates, and 59 Honor Graduates. These students met this distinction by maintaining a high GPA while taking rigorous academic classes.

This class is also made up of four National Merit Scholars, 13 seniors enlisted in various branches of the military earning approximately $1.5 million dollars in scholarship money, two military academy appointments (these scholarships are valued at over $600,000 each), a prep school appointment (valued at $250,000), and over $150,0000 in scholarships given by businesses, organizations, and individuals in our local community.

Out of the 754 graduates, 92 of these have a 4.0 GPA or higher. Also included is well over half-a-million dollars given in band, choir, and athletic scholarships.

Valedictorian Hudson Kincade and his father Mayor KincadeThe Cabot High School Class of 2025 Valedictorian is Hudson Kincade. Hudson is the son of Ken and Amanda Kincade. While at Cabot High School, Hudson has been a member of National Honor Society and the Social Studies Honor Society, where he served as treasurer. He is graduating as an AP Scholar with Distinction. Hudson was on the CHS golf team for four years. Hudson has been named a Honors College Fellow at the University of Arkansas where he plans to double major in Economics and Mathematics and then pursue a career in financial management.

Salutatorian Ramsey Hanley with School Board President Joe TrustyOur Salutatorian for the Class of 2025 is Ramsey William Hanley. Ramsey is the son of Robert Hanle and Chana Hanle. While at Cabot High School, Ramsey has been involved with the Geography Club and Chess Club, where he served as Vice President. He has been a member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and was a Career and Technical Education Completer in Computer Science. He has volunteered at the Cabot Animal Shelter and for Cabot Country Cruisers. Ramsey plans to attend the University of Arkansas to obtain bachelor degrees in Biology and Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science.

The changing of the tassel was conducted by a very special member of the Cabot High School Class of 1965. Kenneth Ross Ridgeway has been selected as the 2025 Distinguished Alumnus. Mr. Ridgeway represented not only his fellow classmates - who are celebrating the 60th anniversary of their graduation - but also the thousands of other proud alumni of Cabot High School. Mr. Ridgeway began his educational journey at Ward Elementary School and joined Cabot High School in the 8th grade. During his time at CHS, he was actively involved in football and track. His graduating class of 1965 was the first to include more than 100 graduates.
