School Board Recognition Month
Some of our talented students from Cabot High School culinary classes - Food Safety and Nutrition and Advanced Nutrition and Dietetics - had the special honor of presenting at the January Cabot School Board Meeting in recognition of Arkansas School Board Recognition Month.

Alongside Family and Consumer Science teacher April Veazey, CHS Principal Mike Facinelli, and Dr. Nicole Gatewood, Coordinator of CT and STEM Innovation, students showcased their skills by cooking up something special for our school board members, Superintendent Michael Byrd, and for community members at the meeting!

The menu included freshly baked zucchini bread, cookies, and cupcakes. Experiences like this highlight the hands-on learning these classes provide - preparing students for college, careers, and everyday life.
*Special thank you to CHS Engineering Teacher Dylan Glover for creating the amazing Panther logo heart cupcake toppers! They were a hit!
