April 23, 2026
The Cabot School District is proud to announce that Cabot Freshman Academy has been awarded $110,298.59 in School Recognition Funds from the Arkansas Department of Education. This award recognizes exceptional student achievement and academic growth through the Arkansas School Recognition Program.
Cabot Freshman Academy earned distinction as a Top 5% school for academic growth and ranked in the Top 6–10% for overall performance across the state.
This recognition brings the Cabot School District’s total Academic Achievement Reward Funds this year to $443,691.45.
The Arkansas School Recognition Program provides financial awards to public schools that demonstrate high levels of student performance, strong academic growth, and, at the secondary level, high graduation rates.
Schools receiving recognition funds are required to establish a committee to determine how the funds are used. In the past, the district has focused on investing in additional technology, educational equipment, and classroom materials to support student learning.
We are incredibly proud of the students and staff at Cabot Freshman Academy for earning this recognition and continuing to demonstrate what it means to provide More for Every Student.
