School Letter Grades 2025-2026

The Arkansas Department of Education's Division of Elementary and Secondary Education released the 2026 state accountability reports for public schools. Arkansas's Public School Accountability System evaluates public schools based on student achievement, student growth, and student readiness.

The Cabot School District earned a B, a rating awarded to only 115 Arkansas school districts, or 45.28% of districts statewide.

Each public school in Arkansas is assigned an overall letter grade. The chart below explains the distribution of letter grades across Arkansas and in our district for the 2025-2026 school year.

Cabot Panther Academy, an Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) program, is exempt from receiving a letter grade. The District’s other ALE, Cabot Learning Academy (CLA), received a letter grade for the first time this year. The district is seeking clarification from the Arkansas Department of Education regarding this decision.

Cabot Public Schools is proud of the continued academic progress of our students and the hard work of our teachers and staff. This year, seven Cabot schools earned an “A” letter grade, up from six last year, with one school making an impressive two-letter-grade jump to an “A.”

These results reflect the continued commitment of our students, educators, and families. While we are proud of the progress being made across the district, we also recognize there is still work to do. Our schools remain focused on continued growth, higher achievement, and providing every student with the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
