October 30, 2015

Cabot High School art classes partnered with Safe Haven Shelter to produce awareness posters in honor of October being domestic violence awareness month.

The nearly 300 posters were judged by Nicole Begley of Safe Haven, Mary Ann Taft, Cabot Mayor Bill Cypert and Ken Wade.

First, second and third places were given to each grade level in Art One, Art Two and the advanced classes. Overall winners selected from entries were given to Lathan Holland, Hannah Joslin, Shana Ditto and Olivia Stuckey.

Each of these students won a $25 gift certificate in addition to 1st place ribbons for each of their categories. The posters will be on display in the CHS media center until November 6th.
