The Polar Express Makes A Stop At Eastside Elementary

December 18, 2015

The Polar Express made a stop at Eastside Elementary Friday morning.

The outside of the school was transformed into a train. As parents pulled up to let their children out, they were greeted by conductors Superintendent Dr. Thurman, High School Principal Henry Hawkins, volunteer Clayton Gray and Damon Bivins with Centennial Bank.

Each student was handed a golden ticket as they entered the school. Afterwards they enjoyed a sing-a-long; hot chocolate and they watched the movie, The Polar Express.
