Basketball Champs Receive State Rings

The 7A State Boys Basketball Champions received their state championship rings Monday night!

It all took place at the end of year basketball celebration. The Cabot Panther Foundation helped purchase the rings for each player. Several foundation members came to the banquet to share in the special moment.

You'll recall the team defeated Bentonville 59-49 on March 11th in Hot Springs. It was an electric night as thousands filled the Bank of the Ozarks Arena to watch the two teams battle it out on the hardwood.

This is the first time in school history that the boys have played in and won a state basketball championship. The girls won the title back in 2012.
