Backpack Donation and School Supplies for Ward Central Elementary

Ward Central Elementary received a generous gift that will help start the 2016-2017 school year! Thanks to Arkansas Office Products in Sherwood and Pinnacle Structures in Cabot, 50 new backpacks and boxes full of school supplies will be put to good use.

For the past five years, Arkansas Office Products in Sherwood has been donating backpacks filled with supplies to Central Arkansas schools. They started with 100 backpacks and since they've teamed up with their customers, which include Pinnacle Structures, they were able to donate almost 800 backpacks this year!

Craig Allen, Arkansas Office Products says they love giving back to the schools and community and hopes to donate even more next year.

Ward Central Principal Dawn Verkler and Assistant Principal Andy Sullivan were very grateful for the donation. School starts Monday, August 15th, and they're excited to have these supplies for their students.
