First Community Bank Donates Backpacks For Kids

First Community Bank in Cabot delivered dozens of backpacks for students Thursday.

Branch Manager Latricia Davis presented 27 brand new backpacks to Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman and Director of Counseling Terena Woodruff.

First Community Bank donated a backpack for every new account opened in the month of August. The backpacks will be given to counselors who will then distribute them to students in need. They'll also be used as part of our Backpack Program. As part of the program, backpacks are filled with food and sent home with students to make sure their families have enough food over the weekend.
