Cabot 2016 Homecoming Parade Details - Paint the Town RED

The 2016 Cabot Homecoming Parade will be Friday, October 14th at 3:30 p.m. District dismissal will be at 2:00 p.m.

All school registration forms are due to Cabot High School by Friday, October 7th.  Forms may be turned into the Cabot High School Office, or mailed to:

**Parade Route, Must Read**

Cabot Homecoming Parade route:

The parade will begin at the intersection of Hwy 89 and Panther Trail and end at the intersection of Hwy 89 and Pond Street. You must turn left at Pond Street at the end of the parade. Police will not allow any parade participants to take another route once you have reached the intersection of Hwy 89 and Pond Street. For parents picking up children who are participating in the parade, you must make arrangements with your float coordinator as to where to meet after the parade is over to get your child.

Bicycles, all-terrain vehicles and 18-wheel vehicles are not allowed in the parade. For safety reasons, candy may not be thrown from any float or given out by anyone accompanying an entry.  A school administrator or Cabot police officer will immediately remove anyone throwing candy from the parade.  All drivers must have a valid driver's license.

In case of rain, the parade will NOT be rescheduled. If the parade is canceled due to weather, all entry fees will be refunded. Any announcement of parade cancelation will be posted on the High School Marquee.

The Panthers will be playing the Little Rock Central Tigers Friday night. 

Community members, schools, churches and businesses in Cabot, Austin, and Ward are encouraged to "Paint the Town Red" the week of October 10th in support of the Cabot Panthers Homecoming week, ending with the homecoming football game on October 14th.

Decorate your windows, fly red balloons, have Panther specials, etc. all week as Cabot takes on the Little Rock Central Tigers! We are especially encouraging the businesses on Hwy 89 S/Pine St. to participate as this is the Parade Route.
