National Signing Day: Six CHS Seniors Sign With AR Colleges

Friends and family packed Cabot High School on National College Signing Day to watch six student athletes sign letters of intent with Arkansas schools to play sports at the college level.
Congratulations to Jarrod Barnes (Football – U of A), Hadley Dickinson (Soccer – UCA), Austin Morse (Football - UAM), Cody Nabors (Football – UAM) Alex Roberts (Football – ASU), and Easton Seidl (Football - UAM).
In front of a large crowd, Jarrod Barnes, along with his mother Gretchen, signed to play football for the University of Arkansas. The Cabot senior quarterback will move to position of wide receiver for the Hogs. Jarrod is looking forward to this next chapter in his life and playing at the college level. He's always wanted to be a Razorback and this is a dream come true for his family.
Jarrod has been All-State and All-Conference throughout his three years of high school and is also a Lander's Award recipient.
Claws Up for Hadley Dickinson! Along with parents Stephen and Leila, Hadley signed her letter of intent to play soccer next year for the University of Central Arkansas Bears! Hadley is looking forward to the college atmosphere and learning new things.
The first of three signees to the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Austin Morse, with parents David & Crystal, signed his letter of intent for playing football. Austin is looking forward to playing football at the collegiate level and says UAM feels like home. Austin plans on pursuing a degree in Education while at UAM.
Cody Nabors, son of David and Stephanie, will join Austin at UAM playing football as well. Cody enjoyed visiting with the coaches at UAM and knew it was the place for him. Cody plans to study Business.
Alex Roberts will become a Red Wolf next fall! Along with parents Steven and Masayo, Alex signed to play football for Arkansas State University next fall. Alex was All Conference in football and All State for Track and Field his junior year. Alex fell in love with ASU and the campus and plans on pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
The final signee of the day was another UAM football player – Easton Seidl. Easton, with proud parents Eddie & Jennifer, signed his letter in front of family and friends. The campus felt like home for Easton and he liked the coaches and facility. He looks forward to playing with some of the best players in the country next year. Easton plans on studying Kinesiology and Sports Science.
This week has been a great one for Cabot High School and our student athletes! Congratulations again Jarrod, Hadley, Austin, Cody, Alex, and Easton!
