Heading to State - LINE 89 for CHS Bowling Teams

The Cabot High School Boys' and Girls' Bowling Teams competed against nine other schools this week in the 7A/6A Central Conference Tournament and both teams earned the title of champion.

The girls' team surpassed their last year's record with a new high score of 3817 (last year was 3731). The boys' team continued to place in the top of their conference with a score of 4657. Several bowlers also received individual awards.

Other schools that competed in the tournament include: Lake Hamilton, Texarkana, Mountain Home, Conway, Searcy, Catholic, Mount Saint Mary's, Benton, and Jonesboro.

Several student bowlers also received individual awards at the conference meet.

A “LINE 89” will take place Monday, February 13th at 9:30 a.m. to send off our bowlers as they depart for state. Please help us cheer on our Panthers and show support for these great teams!

Both teams will compete in the 7A/6A State Bowling Tournament Championship on Tuesday, February 14th in hopes of earning the title of 2017 State Champs! If they win, this will be the sixth consecutive state title for the boys' team, and the third consecutive state title for the girls' team. It will also be the girls' team sixth overall win.
