Student-Athlete Physicals: April 15th

The Cabot Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Cabot Public Schools' Athletic Training Department and Harding University Physician Assistant Program, will provide free Pre-Participation Exam (P.P.E.)/Athletic Physicals on Saturday, April 15th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the CHS Athletic Fieldhouse for current athletes who will be entering the 8-12th grade for the 2017-2018 school year. There will be no scheduled times for athletes or specific teams times.

Harding University has committed to do 500 athletic physicals and it will be a first come first serve event until we reach 500 student athletes or 3:00pm. *Click HERE to read letter from Harding University regarding physicals.*

If an athlete is not currently on an athletic roster they MUST go to their primary care physician to fulfill the AAA requirements of having a P.P.E. prior to participating in any athletic activity for Cabot Public Schools.

The physicals will consist of: musculoskeletal screenings, vital signs screenings, and height and weight measurements of our student athletes.

The very first and most important aspect in providing our student athletes with appropriate athletic healthcare is providing them with a thorough Pre-Participation Exam (P.P.E). The National Federation of High School Sports along with the Arkansas Activities Association mandates that every athlete must have an annual P.P.E as part of their eligibility requirements for athletics.
