Central Students Learn Importance of Trees

November 2, 2017

Central Elementary fourth graders recently had the opportunity to learn about the importance of trees in our environment. The Arkansas Forestry Commission helped plant three trees on campus, one representing each fourth grade class.

Cabot City Beautiful donated the trees and Central Elementary held a ceremony with the fourth grade class. The Forestry Commission explained the process of planting a tree to students and helping it thrive. Cabot Mayor Bill Cypert also joined in and read a proclamation dedicating the trees to Central Elementary.

It was a great learning experience for our Central Elementary students!
