Northside Teachers Awarded $2,500 Walmart Community Grants

It was an exciting day at Northside Elementary! Three teachers found out they each have been awarded $2,500 Walmart Community Grants from the Walmart Distribution Center in Searcy.

Ali Philpott who works for Walmart and is a Northside Elementary parent and volunteer presented the checks to second grade teacher Heather Haselhuhn, Literacy Interventionist Specialist Karen Turner, and fourth grade teacher Sarah Robbins. They plan on spending the money on books, new technology, and alternative seating for their classrooms.

Congratulations to Ms. Haselhuhn, Ms. Turner, and Ms. Robbins!
