Cabot Parks & Rec Event Brings In Huge Donation for Cabot Kids

It was an exciting day for Cabot School District counselors and Christmas Alliance volunteers as they were surprised with close to $5,000 in food for our Cabot students and their families.
Cabot Parks and Recreation held its first, “Cabot's Celebrate The Season” event back in November. During the event they collected non-perishable food items and sponsors, First Arkansas Bank & Trust, Red River Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and the Alex Blackwood Foundation each donated $500 in food.
The items filled up seven vehicles and will be distributed to families and students through the Cabot Christmas Alliance and Backpack programs.
Thank you to everyone in the community and to Cabot Parks and Recreation for donating these much needed food items to our Cabot families.
