CFA Student Wins Grand Prize in Art Contest

A Cabot Freshman Academy student has won the grand prize in the Downey Publishing “Art for Education” Telephone Directory Cover Contest.
Congratulations to Auston Melton! In addition to having his artwork featured on the cover of the Downey Jacksonville/Cabot/Lonoke Telephone Directory, Auston receives a $500 gift card. The Cabot Freshman Academy also received $500 towards its school art program!
The theme for the 11th annual “Art for Education” contest: What makes your town special? Artists sent in colorful views of something found in their hometown and Austin's artwork captured the top prize for our area.
Auston is a fantastic artist with a great work ethic and we are very proud of him!
