Stagecoach Elementary Receives Grant For Gardens

Stagecoach Elementary was awarded a $2000 grant this school year from Innovative Solutions for Educational Partnerships (ISEP). 

The grant was used to purchase materials to create raised gardens. Classes partnered together to choose what would be planted in their beds and took responsibility of caring for and maintaining their garden space. 

Teachers were able to teach across the curriculum, including math and science when cultivating their chosen crop/plants. Stagecoach students and staff look forward to planting fall gardens in the upcoming school year.
