CFD Donates Stop The Bleed Kits To District
August 28, 2018
Thank you to our Cabot Fire Department and Cabot Fire Department Explorer Post 1891 for raising $1,500 to purchase the district three more Stop the Bleed kits.
Firefighters, Cabot High School students, and former CHS students helped raise the funds by holding a car wash and 5K. “Stop the Bleed” is a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to act quickly and save lives. If there is an emergency, no matter how rapid emergency responders get there, bystanders will always be first on scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss in five minutes so it's important to know how to quickly stop the blood loss to save lives.
Currently, the district has a Stop the Bleed kit in every school. Thanks to the Cabot Fire Department and Explorers Club we now have extra kits for our campuses.

Thank you Cabot Fire Department for all your support!
