It was a great night as a beloved school bus driver was honored by a district family. Also, our top spelling bee students had a chance to team up with board members and enjoyed some friendly competition.
Bus Driver Recognition
A devoted Cabot School bus driver was honored for her dedication to our students.
The Weatherly family nominated bus driver Debbie Taylor for an I Drive Education award. Ms. Taylor has been driving a bus for more than 30 years and the Weatherly family wanted her to know how much she means to them. They even wrote her a poem!
Thank you Ms. Taylor for taking care of our families and our most precious cargo!
Spelling Bee Winners
Our district Spelling Bee winners were also recognized during February's school board meeting! Students even had the chance to team up with board members and enjoyed some friendly spelling competition.
Congratulations to Aiden Patten, Cord McCall, Allie Goertzen, Madison Denzel, Chandler Ford, and Eliana Crawford.
Allie won first place in our District Spelling Bee and placed 3rd in the Lonoke County Spelling Bee!
