Cabot Middle School North Honors Veterans

November 14, 2012

Cabot Middle School North honored veterans from all branches of the military at a Veterans Day ceremony.  Over 400 veterans were in attendance to enjoy song performances by students and hear guest speakers Chief Master Sergeant John J. Spillane IV and Colonel Brewer of the Little Rock Air Force Base.

Presentations were made to the oldest and youngest veterans in attendance.  Sergeant Frank Pratt was the oldest veteran at 91 years old.  He is a World War II veteran who received two Purple Hearts for his service.  Sergeant Pratt was presented with an American flag that was flown in Afghanistan.

Following the ceremony, veterans were invited to a reception full of wonderful food.  MSN truly honored these veterans for their service.
