Fall 2019 National Signing Day — 15 Cabot Athletes

Cabot High School recently held the largest National Signing Day as fifteen seniors signed letters of intent to play the sport of their choice next fall at the college level.
Congratulations to the eight baseball, one basketball, four softball, one track and one volleyball student-athletes!

Baseball
Patrick Babcock was the first signee of the day. Patrick will be furthering his education and baseball career at Allen Community College for next fall.
Wil Camplain signed with North Arkansas College. He is looking forward to playing baseball at the next level and to play for Coach Osner. Wil aspires to work as a Wildlife Biologist one day.
Justin Graham, along with Patrick, will play baseball at Allen Community College.
Clayton Gray heads to the University of Arkansas next fall! Clayton has always wanted to go to Arkansas and said he felt at home there. He is looking forward to the new challenges ahead and how they will help him become a better player. Clayton was a member of the 2017 State Championship Team, All-Conference, All-State, a perfect game notable player, and the fastest 60 recorded in Arkansas 2020 for a perfect game. While at Arkansas, Clayton plans to major in Business.
Mason Griffin will be attending Arkansas Tech next fall. Mason is excited to continue playing baseball at the next level and is looking forward to the new opportunities that await him.
Houston King is excited to attend the University of Kentucky next fall! Houston is looking forward to meeting new people and getting an opportunity to play in the SEC and pursue his dream of playing in the MLB. Houston is a 3x All Conference, 2x All State, 6A Player of the Year and was a member of the 2017 State Championship Team.
Jackson Olivi will attend Northern Oklahoma College in the fall. Jackson looks forward to working and getting to know his new team and coaches.
Austin Scritchfield will be a UALR Trojan next fall. Austin is ready for this new opportunity in his life and is excited for his future.

Basketball
Shy Christopher will continue her education and athletic career at Southeast Missouri University next fall. As a recent move into Cabot, Lady Panthers Coach Jay Cook described Shy as a humble, genuine, and coachable athlete that he is excited to have as part of the team this year.
Softball
Halley Gamewell is excited to further her education and softball career at Lyon College next fall. She was a member of the 2019 State Softball Championship Team.
Rylie Hamilton will be attending Southern Illinois next fall. She chose SIU because she felt very comfortable when she visited the campus. She believes the school has a lot to offer her academically and throughout her softball career as well. While at Cabot, Rylie has made 3x All Conference, 2x All State, named the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year, and was a member of the 2019 State Championship Team.
Aubrey Lee will be a Warrior next fall at Hendrix University. Aubrey chose Hendrix because it felt like home to her and she loved the environment and the academics. She liked Coach Weaver and the softball program's atmosphere. Aubrey has been named 2x All Conference, 2018 Offensive Player of the Year, 2x Max Preps Team and was a member of the 2019 All State Tournament Team.
Grace Neal will play softball at the University of Arkansas Monticello next year. Grace loved the campus and is excited for this new chapter of her life. She can't wait to join her new team and do great things at UAM. Grace is a 3x All Conference, 2019 All State, 2019 Offensive Player of the Year, and was a member of the 2019 State Championship Team.
Track and Field
Thomas Jasmin will run at Eastern Kentucky University next year. Thomas plans to major in Aviation and is excited about the opportunities at EKU. He is looking forward to the new environment and competing at the college level.
Volleyball
Marissa Gilmore will play Sand Volleyball at the University of Central Arkansas. Marissa has always loved playing volleyball and the last few years she has grown to love Sand Volleyball. She loved the coaches at UCA and feels that she has a lot to learn from them. Marissa plans to study Elementary Education with hopes of working as an Elementary school teacher in Arkansas one day. Marissa was 2018 All Conference and the 2018 Delta Region High Performance Camp Best Defensive Player.
