HS Basketball 2019-2020 Season Recap

The 2019-2020 high school basketball season is now over but not after an impressive season for both the Panthers and Lady Panthers. 

The Lady Panthers finished their overall season with a record of 23-6 and 10-4 in conference. The Lady Panthers made it to the 6A State Tournament, which was held at Bryant High School March 4-7, playing Van Buren in the first round and winning 49-38. They advanced to the quarterfinals but fell to Fayetteville 53-37.

Head Coach Jay Cook and Assistant Coach Carson Gill, who are both in their first year coaching at Cabot, coach the Lady Panthers Basketball Team.

2020 6A Central All-Conference Players:
Izzy Arnold, Emily Belin, Shy Christopher, and Hannah Ogilvie.

2019-2020 Lady Panthers Team

2020 Seniors: Izzy Arnold, Emily Belin, Shy Christopher, Patricia Gonzalez, Khristian McDonald, Hannah Ogilvie, Maddie Scott, and Johanna Wolter.

The Panthers finished their overall season 18-11 and 7-7 in conference. The Panthers also advanced to the 6A State Tournament with their first game against Rogers, winning 42-41. The Panthers played Ft Smith Northside the following night in the quarterfinals but lost 65-36.

Interim Head Coach Logan Bailey and Assistant Coach Mike Tucker coach the Panthers.
