K-12 Schedule Change: Nov. 18-20

Panther Families, 

Just like districts across the state, Cabot Public Schools is feeling the increasing effects of COVID-19.

*As of noon today (Monday, 11/16), the district is short 10 bus drivers for the remainder of the week, with three more drivers undergoing COVID-19 testing.

*We have more than 60 staff members absent due to COVID related issues.

Due to these reasons, and the fact that we expect the district to be faced with more challenges, we have made the following schedule change as the week progresses.

K-12 SCHEDULE CHANGE – Nov. 18-20

*Tuesday, (11/17) is a normal school day.

Wednesday (11/18) & Thursday, (11/19) – On-site instruction will be provided, however, students have the option to work from home. 

*Wednesday (11/18) and Thursday (11/19) will be normal school and transportation hours (8:00 A.M.-3:20 P.M.)

*Friday (11/20) – Will remain a Flex-Day. Dismissal is still at 1:00 P.M. (Enrichment 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.)

*The Cabot Pre-K program will continue as normal. 

By providing this option, the district will be able to consolidate our number of bus routes and effectively adjust our staff to best accommodate the needs of our students. 

We understand these are difficult times. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these challenges.

Cabot Public Schools will be on Fall Break from Nov. 23-27.

Al igual que los distritos de todo el estado, las Escuelas Públicas de Cabot están sintiendo los efectos crecientes de COVID-19.

* A partir del mediodía de hoy (lunes 16 de noviembre), al distrito le faltan 10 conductores de autobús para el resto de la semana, y tres conductores más se someten a la prueba COVID-19.

* Tenemos más de 60 miembros del personal ausentes debido a problemas relacionados con COVID.

Debido a estas razones y al hecho de que esperamos que el distrito enfrente más desafíos, hemos realizado el siguiente cambio de horario a medida que avanza la semana.

CAMBIO DE HORARIO K-12 - 18-20 de noviembre

Miércoles (18/11) y jueves (19/11) - Se proporcionará instrucción en el lugar, sin embargo, los estudiantes tienen la opción de trabajar desde casa.

* El miércoles (18/11) y el jueves (19/11) serán horas normales de escuela y transporte (8:00 A.M.-3: 20 P.M.)

* Viernes (20/11): seguirá siendo un día flexible. La salida sigue siendo a la 1:00 P.M. (Enriquecimiento 1:00 P.M.-3: 00 P.M.)

* El programa Cabot Pre-K continuará con normalidad.

Al proporcionar esta opción, el distrito podrá consolidar nuestro número de rutas de autobús y ajustar eficazmente nuestro personal para adaptarse mejor a las necesidades de nuestros estudiantes.
