Cabot Senior Takes Home Top Spot in Conference Cross Country Championship 2014

The 7A East/Central Conference Cross Country Championship meet was held in Cabot Monday at the Rolling Hills Country Club.
Runners from Bryant, Little Rock Catholic, Cabot, North Little Rock, Van Buren, Conway and Little Rock Central competed in the Men's 5k.
Meanwhile, high school runners from Bryant, Cabot, Mount St. Mary Academy, Conway and Van Buren competed in the Women's 5k.
Our very own Senior Micah Huckabee took home the top spot in the women's individual race with a time of 19:17. Junior Samantha Nickell finished in the top ten with a 9th place finish and a time of 21:30. In the Women's 5k Team competition, Cabot claimed 2nd place with a total of 50 points.
In the men's race, Cabot Senior Nick Davis finished in the top ten with a 9th place finish and a time of 17:47.
Cabot placed 3rd overall in the Men's 5K Team race with a point total of 106.
