Eastside Elementary Honoring Veterans

Eastside Elementary students and faculty wish to honor all of our Veterans.
What: Veterans Day Reception followed by a Veterans Day Parade
Who: We would like to invite the Veteran family members of our students
When: Tuesday, November 11, 2014
The reception will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Where: The reception will take place in our Media Center
The parade will take place in the hallways of Eastside
Additional Important Details: All Eastside students are invited to dress in patriotic color/theme clothing on Tuesday, November 11th. Veterans are invited to wear their military attire. We also invite students to complete a star (provided with this invitation) in honor of their Veteran. We will need these no later than Monday, November 10th. Should you choose to send in a photo along with the star, we respectfully request that you send copies, not original photos.
In order to have an idea of how many guests Eastside needs to plan for, click HERE, to complete the attendance form and return it to Mrs. Cross, school counselor, by Friday, November 7th.
