Westside Elementary Kicks off One Book, One School

Hundreds of students at Westside Elementary are ready to go on an epic adventure.
Friday, the school held a pep rally to kick off the “One Book, One School” program. It's an effort to create a true “Community of Readers.”
During this project, every teacher and every family Pre-K to 4th grade will be reading the same book. Every Westside family has received a copy of the book, “Stranded.”
Students will have the opportunity to answer trivial questions and add words to the word wave wall on a daily basis. Westside Elementary welcomes the community to join in on this epic adventure with them.
