End of Year District Staff Meeting

Hundreds of teachers and staff were recognized for their hard work and service at Thursday's end of year district staff meeting. Eight Cabot schools also received close to $400,000 in Reward Funds.

Senator Eddie Joe Williams and Representative Tim Lemons presented eight schools with nearly $400,000 in Reward Funds. These funds are awarded to high performing schools through the Arkansas School Recognition and Reward Program. The program recognizes the top 20% of schools based on academic achievement, academic growth and graduation rates.

Teachers with Heart Award Winners

The CTA Teachers with Heart Award is given to educators who go above and beyond in and out of the classroom. The sixteen finalists were chosen based on nominations from parents, colleagues, principals, students, and members of the public.

Three teachers (one high school teacher, one-mid-level teacher and one elementary teacher) were awarded $250.00 at the end of year district meeting.
