CHS Marching Band To Perform in Washington D.C.

The Cabot High School Marching Band is headed to Washington D.C. to perform in the National Independence Day Parade. They will be performing a patriotic medley.
The band will leave Cabot Thursday and return next Wednesday. About 200 kids will be making the trip. This is the band's fourth time to participate in the Fourth of July Parade.
Students have been practicing for weeks and say they've been looking forward to this performance. Along with performing at the parade, the students will also visit the monuments, Smithsonian, watch the fireworks at the National Mall and they'll also visit the Marine Barracks.

Three drum majors will also perform at a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
The Cabot High School Band is practicing one last time before heading to Washington D.C. for the National Independence Day Parade! They'll be on THV11 at 6:00 p.m. tonight!!
