Principal's Corner

The Cabot Middle School North Team would like to extend a warm welcome to our 2012-2013 students and families!

CMSN has had the honor of being awarded the Shannon Wright Award and has been named an Arkansas Diamond School. Test scores in Math and Literacy have placed us as one of the top 20 middle schools in the state for the past two years. These awards would not have been possible without the tremendous amount of hard work from teachers and the great support from parents.

The middle school years are some of the most important in a child's education. This is the time when students learn critical organizational, interpersonal and communication skills that will be necessary throughout the rest of their school career, as well as in the workplace.  Our mission is to help your child become the absolute best they can be. We hope to accomplish this through regular Advisory lessons, weekly clubs, cooperative learning and exemplary teaching.

This year, CMSN will be implementing the Common Core State Standards in Math and Language Arts. These standards create a rigorous framework that will be universal throughout Arkansas, as well as 42 other states. For more information about Common Core, click here.

When it comes to parents and community members, I have an open door policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or come by.
