Welcome to Ward Central Elementary!
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the Ward Central Elementary family. My name is Tobie Sprawls, and I am truly honored to serve as principal of a school filled with incredible students, a passionate and dedicated staff, and a strong, supportive community.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of Ward Central and to work alongside our families to help every child thrive. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of working with students from Kindergarten through sixth grade in a variety of roles. It is a true joy to lead in a school that puts students first and strives for excellence every day.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the small town of Sarepta, Louisiana. My husband is the assistant principal at Cabot High School, and we are proud to be part of the Cabot School District. Our oldest daughter is currently in graduate school at UCA, pursuing her master’s degree in speech therapy with the goal of working with children. Our youngest just completed her freshman year at Harding University, majoring in biology with plans to become a physician’s assistant.

I believe education is a life-long journey, and at the heart of every decision we make is what’s best for our students. I bring with me a passion for learning, a commitment to collaboration, and a student-centered approach to leadership. I also believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. I invite you to get involved, stay connected, and be an active part of your child’s educational journey.
