CPS: Two-Hour Delay, Tuesday, December 2nd

This is an automated message from the Cabot School District.

Due to the potential for icy roadways, the Cabot School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, December 2nd.

Buses will begin their routes exactly two hours later than normal. For example, if your child is typically picked up at 7:00 a.m., they will be picked up at 9:00 a.m. We understand that some families may need to drop students off early, so all buildings will open at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast will be available for all students.

All classes will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Secondary students should report directly to their 1st period class.

Extracurricular and athletic activities in the morning are canceled.

With temperatures expected to drop below freezing overnight, we anticipate icy patches on some roadways. A two-hour delay will provide additional time for temperatures to rise above freezing and better visibility for all drivers.
