Updated COVID-19 Guidance

January 7, 2022

The Cabot School District has received new COVID-19 guidance from the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Department of Health.

The primary change for students and staff who test positive for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, is a decrease in the number of days required for isolation and quarantine.

*If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are improving after five (5) days and you are fever free for 24 hours without the aid of medication, you can return to work or school.

Pre-K
While the new quarantine and isolation updates apply to pre-k teachers and staff, it does not apply to pre-k children. The program will continue to follow the previous guidelines of 10 days for pre-k children.
