National Substitute Educator of the Year Winner
Congratulations to our very own Megan Mabry! Ms. Mabry was recognized as the 2024 National Substitute Educator of the Year! She was selected as one of four recipients nationwide by Kelly Education for the 2023-24 school year. Ms. Mabry has been a long-term substitute at the Cabot School District for over a year. In fact, she’s been working in the Cabot High School Student Success Center since October.
Ms. Mabry was presented a $5,000 check. She was also given the opportunity to give an additional $1,500 to the school of her choice and she chose the CHS Student Success Center where she works! Congratulations Ms. Mabry!

Eric Hilbert, CMSN
Eric Hilbert is a phenomenal young man explains his principal Micah House! Recently, Eric has proven to his teachers and administrators that given new opportunities, he excels! He has shattered the odds and CMSN couldn't be more proud of him. Eric is just an all around kind and hard working kid. He is a prime example of that hard work and determination can take you anywhere!
PLC Building Recognition
Susan Corn, CMSN
Susan Corn has been teaching in the Cabot School District for 35 years. She is a champion for kids and is not afraid of trying new strategies to push learners to the next level! Mrs. Corn is all about teamwork and collaboration to be on the same page for all students at CMSN. She is a role model for students and fellow teachers. Her impact in and out of the classroom is lasting!

Joshua Oh, Westside Elementary
Joshua Oh is a true role model for his peers. Principal Frankie Glover says, this remarkable 4th grader constantly seeks out new challenges, such as competing on our school's Robotics Team. He sets ambitious goals for himself and demonstrates unwavering dedication to achieving them. His kindness shines through in every interaction, as he is always eager to lend a helping hand to a friend in need.

Whitney Walker, Westside Elementary
Whitney Walker excels in the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process, consistently fostering collaborative environments to enhance student learning outcomes. Her dedication to using data to drive instruction and sharing best practices with fellow educators ensures continuous improvement and academic success in not only her classroom, but in classrooms throughout Westside as well.
