Cabot Students Artwork Featured on Statewide Health Poster

The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) is celebrating National Public Health Week April 2-6 and has partnered with the Cabot School District to highlight several of our young artists.

This year's ADH Public Health Week poster features artwork from eleven of our elementary students. Students were recognized Monday, April 2nd, by the Arkansas Department of Health's Deputy Director for Programs Stephanie Williams and Cabot Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman. Family members as well as administrators attended the event.  

  

The second through fourth grade students were selected after their drawings won the annual Lonoke County Health Coalition's Healthy Poster contest. Each student's artwork depicts what it means to them to make healthy choices.

Hope Mort – Northside Elementary - 3rd grade

Natalee Freas – Northside Elementary - 2nd grade 

This year's national theme is, “Healthiest Nation 2030, Changing our Future Together. It focuses on the steps it will take to make the United States the healthiest nation in one generation by 2030.
