Six Cabot Schools Receive $348,210.54 in Reward Funds
October 30, 2018
The Cabot School District is extremely proud of our students, teachers, and staff for being awarded $348,210.54 in Recognition Program Funds from the Arkansas Department of Education.
Six of our schools received rewards for achieving high student academic growth, performance, and graduation rates. For the second year in a row, Cabot High School earned one of the largest amounts for any school in Arkansas, with $104,217.16 in reward funds!
Two of our schools have also been recognized for both Growth and Performance. Cabot Middle School North has been awarded $83,492.72 and Eastside Elementary, $75,840.60.
We applaud our students and schools for this great achievement. This is a tremendous acknowledgement to all their hard work and dedication. The key to success comes down to the amazing educators we have standing in front of our students each and every day.
A committee will determine how to use the funds. In the past, the district has focused on purchasing additional technology, educational equipment, and materials.
