The Cabot School District Goes Red
February 1, 2019
The Cabot School District is proud to participate in National Wear Red Day. On February 1st, faculty, staff, and students dressed in red to show support of the American Heart Association.
In fact, school employees recently took part in the District Heart Challenge. By partnering with the American Heart Association, we raised awareness and helped fight heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 killer and No. 5 killers of Americans. We also encouraged our staff to get their blood pressure checked, to be active, and to learn how to keep our hearts healthy.

The Cabot School District raised $5,280, the largest amount of any district participating in the District Heart Challenge in Greater Arkansas! All the funds raised will go directly to research for heart disease and congenital heart defects.
In addition, the district has committed to training all our staff and students in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). That's more than 10,000 people! This is a partnership with Walk for Wheezy and the American Heart Association. CPR training will continue into the 2019-2020 school year.
Thank you to all our students, staff, and faculty for supporting the “Go RED” campaign.
