CMSS Technology Enrichment
Students at Cabot Middle School South will attend a technology enrichment class once a week. In this class, students will explore topics including, but not limited to: History and Digital Citizenship, Word Processing, Research, Presentations, Spreadsheets, Digital Creativity, and Coding.
Students at Cabot Middle School South will have access to two computer labs on our campus where they can emerge themselves in educational games, research projects, and digital creations.
Furthermore, Cabot Middle School South students can explore technology in a state of the art Innovation Hub. This hub includes a high definition camera, green screen technology, and audio capturing devices students can use to create unique videos to showcase their interest and talents. This hub also includes an interactive television (ITV). Students can use the ITV to access content from many different sources and manipulate the content using touch-screen technology. Students will also be able to practice coding and engage in various STEM activities by using Ozobots, Lego Walls, and various other makerspaces.
