Project Panthers: New Classroom Technology
New Classroom Technology:
Every classroom in the district, that is 558 classrooms, will receive an Interactive Panel. It is a multi-function 75-inch touch screen that improves learning engagement, flexibility, collaboration, and creativity. These interactive panels will replace aging classroom technology and ensure that teachers and students are connected to learning using the latest technology available.
Summer 2024 Update: COMPLETED
This project was completed in the summer of 2024, and these panels are now a part of daily instruction across the district. Teachers are using them to enhance lessons, and students are engaging with the technology in meaningful, hands-on ways.
August/September 2023 Update:
Project Panthers MOVING FORWARD! Our teachers and students love teaching and learning on their new BenQ Boards. Check it out!
These interactive displays are part of the bond package that our stakeholders approved back in May. These boards replaced aging classroom technology.
June 2023 Update:
Teachers and staff began training on the interactive panels this summer. Installation in classrooms is expected to begin in July 2023.
